DescriptionWashington State Parks and Recreation Commission The role of the C&M Supervisor is to supervise, coordinate, and lead the maintenance program within the NW Region area parks. The C&M Supervisor provides guidance, coordination, and supervision of the trades and maintenance staff who perform maintenance duties on buildings, utility systems, roads, trails, and equipment resulting in the public having safe and functional facilities. The C&M Supervisor also assists in planning projects, budget preparation of projects, facility inspections, and construction and maintenance of buildings, roads and heavy equipment throughout the NW Region area. This position plays an important role of the primary interface with the Region Maintenance Manager and the Maintenance Chief on state and region wide maintenance objectives and priorities. UNIFORM INFORMATION:
All Construction & Maintenance Supervisors are required to wear a uniform. A complete and properly worn uniform helps establish the professional identity of a Construction & Maintenance staff member and promotes respect as a Washington State Parks employee. All Construction & Maintenance Supervisors will receive 6 shirts within the first year (2 shirts per calendar year after the first year), 1 jacket every 3 years, 1 baseball cap every year, 1 safety vest every 3 years, and a clothing stipend of $200 per year, and a $250 boot stipend every 2 years. Uniform stipends are intended to offset the cost of clothing worn in the workplace such as pants, boots, raingear, etc.Supplemental Information
