Texas Critical Systems is a mechanical and plumbing contractor established in the greater Austin area and has been in business since May of 2017. Our focus is in technical mechanical and plumbing projects for clients such as Samsung Semiconductor and the University of Texas. We are looking for Assistant Project Manager and Interns to support the execution of projects for multiple clients. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Assisting with coordinating Subcontractors, Equipment, and manpower needs with project schedules. Assisting to maintain safety and quality control and documentation. Assisting with support of fabrication shop needs. Maintaining construction documents (Drawings, Submittals, RFI's, Job Reports, etc.) Assisting with project controls (Job cost, Schedules, Changes, Procurement) Other duties as assigned. Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience: 4-yr mechanical engineering, business, or construction science degree (or commensurate levels of technical training and/or related experience) OSHA-30 certification (if not currently certified, must be obtained within six (6) months from date of hire) Strong written and oral communication skills Outstanding organizational skills Excellent MS Office skills and ability/drive to learn new software systems Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors Ability to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, twist, bend, and lift 40 pounds Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Ability to smock up and work in a clean room environment Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug test Compensation will be commensurate with experience. This is a full time position based out of Austin, Texas with travel to jobsite locations as required Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
