Generations at Regency in Niles, IL, has an Immediate Opening for a Concierge. This is a Full-Time, Salaried position with an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities of the Concierge:

  • Conduct tours of the facility for prospective residents and/or family members
  • Coordinate the admission process, greet new families upon admission
  • Facilitate daily admissions meetings and provide data regarding resident/family background, family involvement, resident behavior, payer status, etc., to staff in attendance
  • Check in with new residents
  • Coordinate room changes as needed
  • Attend Continuity of Care meetings, Health Fairs and other community based public speaking events
  • Attend Medicare, Department Head, Resident Council and Performance Improvement meetings and others as deemed appropriate
. Requirements:

  • High school diploma; some college desirable
  • Excellent relationship building, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, marketing and planning skills
  • Conflict resolution and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in a healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH and HFS regulations as pertains to admissions, discharges and resident rights
  • Computer proficient
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults
