JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the technical and operational functions of the computer systems at the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. QUALIFICATIONS EXTERNAL and INTERNAL RELATIONSHIP and COMMUNICATION REQUISITE EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma or general education degree (GED); Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or one (1) year information technology experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current Technical Certifications including MCSA 2003, MCSE 2003, Comptia A +, Network +, Security +, Linux +, Server +, Project +, Cisco CCNA, Redhat RHCT, or RHCE can substitute for formal education and or experience.
