Position Summary Duties & Responsibilities Monitor Help Desk ticketing system, ensure proper routing, and address Desktop Services and Classroom Instructional Technology-related tickets. Provide end user support by phone, email, remote access, or campus visits, and during meetings and special events. Assist department staff with IT-related projects. Maintain documentation/knowledgebase for users and technical staff. Maintain hardware inventory information and prepare hardware for proper disposal. Serve as backup to the Senior Technology Support Technician. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of one year of experience working with computer technology in a business environment required. Experience with audiovisual technology (Cisco Telepresence, Cynap) preferred. Experience with Microsoft products is required. Experience with Apple products is desirable. Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management and communication skills. Provide support for desktop computer hardware, software, peripherals and classroom instructional technology.
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade desktop computer hardware, software, peripherals, classroom instructional technology and audiovisual equipment. Prepare computers utilizing imaging technology and current security and anti-virus solutions.
Associate degree required. Associate degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Compensation is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
