Compliance Operations Specialist Responsibilities The successful candidate will be a compliance specialist supporting the organization in establishing and maintaining industry best compliance practices and providing regulatory compliance support to our business partners. You will: Provide recommendations to the business units on implementation actions resulting from changes in laws and regulations, and oversee and consult on the implementation Develop reports and other metrics to monitor ongoing compliance activities Act as an integral business partner by providing strategic, transactional and day-to-day compliance advice and direction Build strong relationships with internal business partners and work as part of cross-functional teams Track, monitor and distribute relevant legal and regulatory changes Qualifications 4-7 years in compliance, insurance, risk management and/or audit areas Four-year college degree or other related field or equivalent work experience Ability to analyze and interpret federal and state regulatory documentation Knowledge of insurance products, laws and services preferred Strong research and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organized and detail oriented Ability to interact well with wide range of internal professionals Adept at handling multiple matters efficiently and concurrently Creative, resourceful, and strategic thinker “Through dedicated employees we proudly deliver legendary service and beneficial products that provide members peace of mind and value.” AAA is an Equal Opportunity Employer The Automobile Club of Southern California will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable federal, state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
