In this role, the Compensation Analyst (contract) will conduct surveys and study labor markets to determine compensation trends; analyze jobs, and review job descriptions and specifications; apply job evaluation techniques to establish equitable compensation rates within the organization as compared with rates in industry; analyze government regulations, company policies to establish standard rates; review classification and compensation changes and makes recommendations with respect to tasks to be performed.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Oversee salary survey submission process
- Assists the Talent Acquisition team with providing salary recommendations for internal promotional opportunities, internal talent moves, and external hires.
- Assist the Director of Compensation in the coordination of annual focal review process
- Assist the Director of Compensation with compensation structure development, organize and enhance job catalog in Workday to align business needs, career pathing, and facilitate linkage to compensation market data
- Support the development and communication of Carbon’s evolving compensation guidelines, philosophy, and strategy
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance or business-related field required.
- 2 years' experience in a compensation role, or broad HR generalist background with a passion for analytics and data driven decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and effectively work in a collaborative environment.- Analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel
- MS Access knowledge preferred
- Experience with Workday is a big plus
- Able to handle a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information & organizational changes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
