We are hiring a Community Relations Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications team. You’ll be able to use your experience to develop and grow sponsorships and donations for the District. The Coordinator works collaboratively with internal departments and external entities to build and maintain community relationships. This position is sales, administrative and customer service in nature. Position is 15-20 hours per week, with availability to work weekdays, evenings and weekends. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, talk and hear; use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment. Specific vision abilities are required and include close vision and ability to adjust focus. May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Bachelor’s Degree with major coursework in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Fundraising, supplemented by three (3) years of related experience, including experience working directly with community and employees to promote organization brand messaging, events and programs
