The Community Relations coordinator is a crucial role in the success of Texas Capital Bank’s Community Impact goals.
This entry-level position will assist the Community Impact Team in coordinating volunteer projects, creating compelling content, and keeping detailed and organized records. A member of the Community Impact team, this person will have a front row seat as we make a positive difference in the communities we serve. We are looking for a passionate and driven self-started with a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational and time management skills.Responsibilities: To be successful in this role, a candidate must demonstrate skill in project coordination, event planning, communication, and organization. But beyond professional skill, we are also looking for an individual with a passion for service to community and commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintains project plans for volunteer events
  • Assists with event planning
  • Keeps track of volunteer hours and services for the bank, divided by each market
  • Drafts volunteer recruitment communications and other communications as needed
  • Maintains and reports feedback responses for each engagement
  • Assists in background checks and vetting for nonprofit sponsorships
  • Ensures marketing resources are engaged for sponsorships
  • Assists with creating new events and reports within volunteer management technology platform
  • Maintains Community Relations records
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree
  • 2-5 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or nonprofit work
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to quickly learn technology tools
  • Basic graphic design ability, using Canva or other similar platform
