Responsibilities
- Successfully defines processes and tasks to achieve optimal efficiency; moderate to high impact on business decisions by supporting global communication projects.
- Develops and implements communication plan for the NAFTA region on the basis of the global communication plan. Plans regional budget. Directs additional communication initiatives outside of the above plan.
- Develops key messages in close coordination with Corporate Communications / PR Weinheim and ensures the implementation of these key messages in the internal and external (market) communications.
- Acts as an interface in the region, for external partners and various internal functions (e.g., Quality, Technology, Regional Center, etc.).
- Supports internal communications globally and is responsible for internal communications in NAFTA (e.g. regional content for the Freudenberg Magazine, portal, etc.).
- Support for external communications, such as local press, location portraits, brochures, customer magazines, and others
- Organization and implementation of media events and VIP visits
- Writing of press releases and presentations as well as maintenance and expansion of media contacts, including as contact person for journalists
- Organization and execution of Freudenberg Group regional events
- Support and monitoring of company-wide communication campaigns, including counseling, development and implementation of communication strategies and concepts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences or similar journalistic training required (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of work experience in a comparable field
- Some initial managerial experience (preferred)
- German or Spanish language skills (preferred)
