The Communications Manager I focuses on segments of major communication programs and has primary responsibility for supporting executive-level programs and engagements. Responsibilities: Be primarily responsible for supporting the evaluation, scheduling and preparation of internal and external engagement opportunities, in support of the CEO Coordinate across groups to research and collect information from internal and external contacts to evaluate engagement opportunities. Synthesize data and format information in a clear and concise way to prepare executive briefing materials Contribute to the strengthening of team operations including the archiving of work and documentation of procedures; Work with graphic and video service providers, when needed. Be a part of and contribute to cross-functional communications project teams. Required Skills & Experiences: Minimum 1 year of experience in corporate communications, marketing, human resources or related field Presence, intellectual capacity and confidence to interact with business partners and support high-profile initiatives Proven ability to understand and articulate complex subjects to sophisticated audiences, and simplify material as necessary Proven record of confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive issues Organizational skills and a high attention to detail Flexibility to manage situations that are fluid and adjust plans when changes are needed Strong writing, editing and project management skills Ability to think/act both strategically and tactically Motivated self-starter who is able to proactively offer ideas and strategies and make decisions, not just execute on what is asked Ability to navigate and exert influence in a highly-matrixed environment and connect the dots Must be a dedicated team player comfortable working in a large, complex organization Ability to work effectively with colleagues in many locations and manage competing priorities and deadlines Ability to build relationships and demonstrate leadership Job Band: Shift: Hours Per Week: Weekly Schedule: Referral Bonus Amount:
