Desired Qualifications:
- Shall assist in maintenance and repair of C4 communications equipment, safely and properly operating general purpose electronic test equipment (GPETE) to maintain, troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment, IAW Marine Corps and SOCOM maintenance standards.
- Shall assist the MRTC S-6 Maintenance Chief with intermediate maintenance activity (IMA) repairs employing safely, effective technical and standard soldering techniques in repairing and maintaining information system components.
- Shall provide logistics support to maintenance actions, to include but not limited to, picking up and dropping off repairable items as required; assisting the S-6 Maintenance Chief with the inspection and distribution of new equipment fielded; entering, reviewing, and maintaining GCCSMC maintenance record information; entering, maintaining, and reviewing data contained within maintenance programs such as modifications, calibrations, publications, quality control, tool control, and Direct Support Items as directed; participate in Commanding General Readiness Inspection (CGRI) and Field Supply Maintenance Analyst Office (FSMAO) inspection preparation as directed.
- Shall be capable of lifting equipment weighing 65 pounds.
- Served a minimum of 1 year as an E5 or higher.
- 5 years’ experience as a ground radio repair/electronics technician in USMC MOS 2841 (Ground Electronics Transmission Systems Maintainer) or similar DoD equivalent. -OR—
- Associates Degree or 2 year technical school certificate in electronics repair or industrial electronics maintenance.
- Must have completed a DoD Electronics Maintenance Repair School. x
- Current Miniature/Micro-miniature/Automatic Test Equipment, Network Plus, and Security Plus certifications required.
- 1 year of experience using MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Possess a SECRET clearance on day one of contract execution.
Desired Education:
- Associates Degree or 2 year technical school certificate in electronics repair or industrial electronics maintenance.
