Job Description

Sportsmants is looking for a Communications Assistant. The successful candidate is responsible for helping to organize, establish and execute our marketing and communication strategies and public relations initiatives that support, improve and preserve the image of Sportsmants brands.


Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the content team by sourcing local stories and composition of original editorial pieces as needed.

  • Assist with the day-to-day marketing campaign activities, including phone, email, and other digital channels.

  • Observe and maintain a directory of available marketing collateral, including company profile and PowerPoint template, literature order form, videos, white papers, brochures, etc.

  • Help to coordinate marketing collateral, liaising with external suppliers where needed.

  • Oversee all facets of events, including customer engagement, program creation and satisfaction, vendor analysis and contract negotiation, and day-to-day facilitation and production.

  • Support the Marketing Team with the regular management of assets and the accomplishment of all artistic, marketing and communication goals.

  • Help with day-to-day marketing operations, including email , phone and other digital platforms.

  • Identify opportunities to increase sales and customer relationship building and communicate these to your manager.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or related field

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in managing business communications

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to remain flexible, organize daily workload by priorities, and implement change as needed on the fly.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong operational, administrative and organizational skills are important.
