SunnyMac Solar is seeking a Journeyman Electrician with extensive Foreman/Management experience to lead our crews on our upcoming larger-scale Outside Commercial Solar Projects throughout PA and residential projects in NJ, DE, NY. Our ideal candidate has five-years of commercial solar electrical experience, enjoys working outside, and is comfortable working away from home for on average six to eight weeks at a time. Residential solar installation projects will keep you busy between the on-the-road commercial projects.

Job Functions of the Commercial Journeyman Electrician Crew Lead with SunnyMac Solar:

• Meet and lead the crew to install our large-scale commercial projects
• Review job site, project, and plans
• Coordinate team schedules and responsibilities
• Inspect and test all electrical components, equipment, and systems to ensure no issues, damage, or malfunctions for safety
• Communicate with management, project management, designers, and the client as needed
• Lead crew to install all equipment (wiring, conduits, panels, transformers, batteries, etc.) to be code compliant
• Diagnose and repair PV solar systems and components
• Complete all tasks safely, correctly, and on time
• Maintain, assign, and monitor all tools to ensure proper working condition, replace as deemed required
• All other responsibilities as deemed necessary to properly lead installation crew and complete projects while upholding company and industry standards and compliance

Requirements of the Commercial Journeyman Electrician Crew Lead with SunnyMac Solar:

• 10-years electrical
• 5-years foreman/management
• Has or qualifies for Journeyman licensure
• Must have a clean & valid driver’s license
• Should be willing to complete a reference, background, and DMV check
• NABCEP Certified/able to be certified
• OSHA Certified/able to be certified

• Demonstrates excellence in leadership - able to train, manage, and direct installation crews from project start to finish
• Knowledgeable - well trained and versed in understanding electric codes specific to commercial solar PV installation and compliance
• Dependable, must arrive on time and stay on the job until it is complete
• Independent, must be able to work autonomously
• Commercial solar experience preferred – we will train the right experienced Electrician
