S. Conley Sales, Inc. is a Manufacturer Rep Agency in the Commercial HVAC industry, started and headquartered in Bozeman Montana for the past 19 years. We provide services in Montana and Wyoming.
The Commercial HVAC Technician will be responsible for performing detailed startups and service on millions of dollars of HVAC equipment being installed into the market on a yearly basis. Equipment such as Air Handlers, Chillers, Boilers, Pumps, DX Split Systems, VRF, VFD’s, Heat Pumps, Fans, Cooling Towers, Packaged RTU’s, DOAS, UV and more. You will work hand in hand with a manager and senior technician to perform these startup’s and often be the last person on the project prior to owner hand off making sure everything is working as it needs to be. This position will require travel throughout the states of Montana and Wyoming in a company provided service vehicle. Tools will be provided.
Factory Certified Training provided. You will be expected to become an expert on the equipment sold by S. Conley Sales, Inc. We are in the beginning stages of adding technicians, so this is an opportunity for an entrepreneur minded technician who wants to grow an excellent division for our company. This is also a great opportunity for a senior technician who would want to build and mentor this division with possible ownership opportunities depending on experience and vision.
TOP RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform detailed startups and service on HVAC equipment.
  • Refrigeration Experience and Certification desired, preference given to prior VRF Experience.
  • Complete and maintain certified manufacturers’ training programs.
  • Travel the states of Montana and Wyoming.
  • Fill out startup paperwork electronically and submit to manager.
  • Face to the customer at startup and follow up service/trouble shooting.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years in HVAC service, strong refrigeration and controls experience with an aptitude to understand systems
  • Excellent customer service skills a must: Troubleshooting, teamwork, good communication with G.C., M.C., E.C., T.C. and Owner’s facility staff.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Drug screening and background check.
  • Strong self-directed work ethic and willing to learn.
  • Reside within a 30-mile radius of Bozeman, MT.

SALARY/ HOURS:
Competitive and will depend on experience. Starting at 40hours per week. Fulltime benefits starting after 6-month probationary period. Fulltime benefits include, matching 401K, health insurance currently including dental and vision, paid vacation and sick leave, standard holidays.
