Position SummaryThis position is responsible for delivery and oversight of CCC Adult Education orientation activities, success coaching, program operations in relation to collaboration with partner agencies. This includes partner referrals and learner counseling to achieve postsecondary and career goals. Includes travel to Tuba City, Page, Supai and Williams. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesADE- Arizona Adult Education Services Responsibilities
College and Career Navigator (CCN) and Transitions Coordination
Builds and maintains collaborations with postsecondary institutions and utilizes ‘Ability to Benefit’ as applicable- Provides information and counseling on career entry and career training
- Builds and maintains relationships with WIOA core partners
- Works with partner agencies to coordinate support and transition services for participants
- Provides coordination services to participants for four quarters after participant has completed HSE diploma program and collects data for program reporting
Student Services Coordination
- Provides coordination and oversight of the participant eligibility, intake and orientation process
- Collaborates to identify support services for participants
- Collaborates and assists with class schedules
Other Responsibilities
- Coordinates with WIOA partners and the CTE Specialist to provide seamless transition services to adult education learners.
- Assists with developing Integrated Education and Training courses and ensuring appropriate course outlines are documented and reported to the Department of Education.
- Enrolls students in and supports the successful completion of Integrated Education and Training programs.
- Builds student persistence and retention by maintaining student relationships, including monthly communications, advising and success coaching
- Coordinates regular discussions with the Director of Adult Education, college leadership, and CCC staff to facilitate collaboration among WIOA partners.
- Attends monthly ARIZONA@WORK One-Stop partner meetings
- Refers students to partner services; tracks referrals and participant progress in collaboration with ARIZONA@WORK
- Assists director to research and identify opportunities to collaborate with community organizations and generate services and support for Adult Education participants
- Develops formal partner agreements as needed.
- Schedules College and Career Readiness workshops including presenters, guest speakers and logistical arrangements.
- Creates informational and outreach material for distribution to partners and learners.
- Identifies occupational clusters and career pathways for learner participants.
- Travels to Page, Tuba City, Supai and Williams to work with students.
- Conducts outreach/recruitment activities and student follow-up surveys.
- Presents status reports on College and Career Readiness initiatives at monthly staff meetings.
- Schedules and conducts monthly orientation sessions and schedules goal-setting appointments for new students.
- Proctors initial assessments and placement testing

- Solid skills in educational technology
- College degree in education or advising/counseling
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 year directly related experience
- Familiarity with delivery of Adult Education programs
Preferred- Master’s Degree in Education, Public Administration or related field
- Previous experience teaching ABE/ASE
- Familiarity with the Arizona Career Inventory System
- Familiarity with College and Career Readiness Standards
- Experience in community collaboration and partnership development
