This position is remote working from home. You must live in Wisconsin or Minnesota. You must be able to attend training and meetings in Robbinsdale, MN. Accurate assignment of diagnostic and procedural codes for DRG assignment, revenue and research purposes on inpatient encounters. Abstracting of occurrences to Quality Assurance, Infection Prevention, Utilization Management, Risk Management and Pharmacy. The Inpatient coders provide shared services for North Memorial and Maple Grove Hospital American Health Information Management Association credential required, or must obtain certification within six months of hire date or 120 hrs of training, in one of the following: 1) Registered Health Information Technician or 2) Registered Health Information Administrator or 3) Certified Coding Specialist - NMHC Standard Hours per two week pay period: 40.0 Shift: Days 8 hours Weekend Requirement: None Work Group: Non Contract Call Requirement: None Remote or On-site: Remote FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Benefits: Yes
