CMT Lab Technician – Denton
D&S Engineering Labs is looking for an experienced or entry level Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Lab Technician for our office in Denton.
CMET Lab Technician Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform tests on construction materials such as soils, concrete, asphalt and more according to the ASTM testing methods. Some tests include, but are not limited to: plasticity index (PI), Minus #200s, moisture contents, swells, UCs, UUs, sulfates, specific gravity, California Bearing Ratio (CBR), proctors (D698, D1557, 113E, and 114E), compressive strength of cylinders, etc.
• Record data and their findings legibly
• Work in a clean and efficient manner
• Communicate professionally with supervisor and co-workers

CMET Lab Technician Physical Demands:

• Ability to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, lifting, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.)
• Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
• Ability to work overtime as needed
