The ideal Cloud Solutions Engineer is a creative thinker, who thrives on innovation and thinking outside the box. Understanding how to approach complex issues is critical when delivering a solution on time and under budget. In today’s complex business environment, the need to provide real-time information, and to be able to tie different technologies into a seamless solution is imperative.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the Cloud Solutions Architect may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Managing, planning, architecting and monitoring cloud systems.
- Implementing best practices for designing and deploying applications to the cloud.
- Lead a team in the development and deployment of corporate cloud platform applications
- Leading cultural change for cloud adoption
- Developing cloud strategies and coordinating the adaption process
- Guide the architecture as new services are deployed
- Automating different parts of the development process
- Perform hands-on app development when needed
- Identifying potential bottlenecks in applications’ performance
- Maintaining data integrity by implementing proper access control for cloud services
- Mentor team on best practices and performing code reviews
SPECIFICATIONS
Required
- 3+ years experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Experience architecting and developing Cloud solutions
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or similar
- Networking expertise, configuring hybrid Cloud/on-prem networks
- Scripting experience (shell scripting, python), including use of version control (Git)
- System administration (Linux and/or Windows)
- Experience managing security in the cloud; implementing infrastructure and network security, providing guidance on best practices for application security
- Experience migrating applications to the cloud
Preferred
- Relevant cloud, networking, and security certifications
- CI/CD using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar
- Configuring Single Sign-on using OAuth2/Open ID Connect
- Application development experience

- Previous IT consulting experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
