Askia Clinical Supervisor The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the clinical (patient care, utilization of services) components of Dimock’s Clinical Stabilization Service program. This program serves individuals with substance use disorder (s) and who may be COVID positive. This position provides supervision to the clinical and residential staff and ensures that the residential program provides evidence based and trauma informed, quality care at all times, in a culturally competent manner. The Clinical Supervisor works collaboratively with the program director in making admission, continued stay and discharge decisions. This position ensures quick access to care for clients and is responsible for high utilization rates. The Clinical Supervisor provides direct care to clients as needed as well as direct individual and group clinical supervision to all counseling staff; recovery specialists, overnight awake staff and case managers. This position is responsible to supervise student interns. It is responsible to ensure that all documentation, including assessments and treatment plans are completed in accordance with regulatory and Joint Commission guidelines. Minimum Qualifications: Licensed Professional of the Healing Arts (LPHA) (e.g., LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT, or LADC1) and is able to provide supervision to Licensure Track and master’s-level clinicians, bachelor’s-level paraprofessionals, and recovery specialists in the program. The clinical director must have experience, competency, and/or training in both addiction and mental health. A team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills is required. Strong negotiation skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to effectively interact with clinicians, providers, consumers, and public health officials are critical.
