Join the HJF Team! HJF is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant I to support the Clinical Trials Program of the John P. Murtha Cancer Center (MCC) located at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, Maryland. HJF provides scientific, technical, and programmatic support services to MCC. U.S. citizenship required. The John P. Murtha Cancer Center at Walter Reed Bethesda is a modern, patient-centric, tri-service military healthcare facility. Its comprehensive core of military and civilian oncologists and other cancer-trained clinicians and researchers provide multidisciplinary cancer-care delivery and patient-family support services. Our Cancer Center, the only DoD Cancer Center of Excellence within the Military Health System, offers its patients access to cutting-edge cancer diagnostic and treatment technologies. The incumbent will provide support to MCC research projects and assist the projects with participant recruitment, screening, and scheduling of study visits under the direction of the Principal Investigators. Responsibilities: Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of basic computer programs; ability to follow detailed instructions; good written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Experience working in a medical setting preferred. Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline required. Minimum Experience/ Training Requirements: Minimum of 0-2 years of experience required. Background/Security: U.S. citizenship required; eligible to obtain and maintain a Tier III Investigation/ Secret Clearance.
