Department Overview: The Tele-CABA Research Study, a joint VA-OHSU project, is a randomized control trial (RCT) looking at a cognitive rehabilitation intervention for veterans with a history of traumatic brain injury. The study is under the direction of Principal Investigator, Megan Callahan, Psy.D. Function/Duties of Position: This part-time position entails the conduct of human participants research on a telehealth study delivering cognitive rehabilitation to veterans nationally. Duties include recruiting, screening, enrolling, and retaining research participants. Coordinates study visits, research schedules, mails study materials, obtains consent, conducts study assessments, and monitors research activities and participation. Will also participate in the management of regulatory compliance with clinical research protocols. Attends monthly laboratory staff meetings with the Principal Investigator (PI) and senior staff members. A regular work schedule will be assigned and must be maintained. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field; OR Associate's degree AND 1 year of relevant experience; OR 2 years of relevant experience; OR Equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communcation skills, both orally in and in writing
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Team-oriented with the ability to be a strong self-starter
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MA or MS in psychology or related field
  • Experience with Outlook, scheduling, and customer service
  • One or more years of relevant clinical research experience
  • Experience in neurocognitive and psychological assessment
  • Experience working with veterans
  • Strong interest and drive for learning to work with spreadsheet software, particularly Excel and Access
