ResponsibilitiesA Clinical Nurse Practice Coordinator is a registered nurse who works as an expert practitioner within a specialized field of nursing. This individual is responsible for evaluating and implementing evidence-based practice, education, and professional development, within the ED. They serve as a clinical resource for the ED Nursing staff for bedside care. In addition, they will focus on new graduate nurses development within the ED.
QualificationsGraduate of an accredited NLN approved RN program. Master's degree in Nursing required.Three (3) years of recent clinical experience in an Emergency Department setting. One year of education background preferred.Current SC nursing license or compact state license; BLS, PALS, ACLS. Prefer certification as CEN.Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, outcomes oriented, and knowledge of education methods and clinical practice.
