HarperRand is currently looking to hire a part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor for our Clinical Medical Assistant program at our Redding location. We are interested in committed candidates with various backgrounds who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! We offer generous pay, valuable training, and the opportunity to teach and develop future healthcare workers. The program is scheduled to run Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Advanced student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
  • Assist in student learning outcomes.
  • Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
  • Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct.
  • Facilitate all required skill labs with assistant skill instructor
  • Grade class assignments and exams.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field.
  • Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
  • Front office experience.
  • Back office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, bandaging and more.
  • Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
  • Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards.
  • Comfortable with computers and technology.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Current CPR certification.
