The Clinical Coordinator for the School of Allied Health is responsible for developing and maintaining clinical affiliations for a number of programs across degree levels. They manage operations of the clinical rotation/externship experience for students through site development (doctors' offices, urgent care centers, specialty and ambulatory centers, hospitals, etc.), student placement, documentation coordination, and site reviews/supervision for all clinical courses to ensure adequate opportunity and satisfactory performance. The Clinical Coordinator fosters and maintains relationships with clinical partners through a variety of means, including but not limited to, phone calls, site visits, student orientations, instructional seminars, and collaborative coordination sessions. The Clinical Coordinator also participates in applicable school activities such as Program Advisory Board meetings, faculty meetings, student functions, and graduation/pinning/induction ceremonies.
