The Department of Endodontics at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, invites applicants to apply for a full-time, clinical teaching position; 4 days per week, 52 weeks per year.
1. Transfer knowledge of Endodontology based on scientific evidence at the highest levels achievable to students and the profession at large.
2. Promote comprehensive care in clinical education and be an active player in the process.

Endodontic certificate, preferably from a CODA accredited dental school
Physical Requirements
SPECIFIC: Must possess the motor skills to perform relevant diagnostic maneuvers, dental preparations, and clinical procedures in a timely manner. Such actions require coordination of gross and fine muscular movements, equilibrium, and functional uses of the senses of touch and vision.
SPECIFIC: Must be able to perform basic life support including CPR, transfer and position patients with disabilities, physically restrain adults and children who lack motor control, and position and reposition himself or herself around the patient and chair in sitting and standing positions for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to operate controls, use high-speed or low-speed dental handpieces for tooth preparation procedures, the operating microscope and use hand instrumentation including scalpels for surgical procedures. All of these skills must be performed within reasonable time frames.
