Description:

Swedish is calling a Clinic Administrator II (1.0 FTE, Days) in the Central Seattle Clinic to Swedish Medical Group in Seattle, WA.

This position will provide ongoing leadership for the development and implementation of management and patient care systems to assure cost-effective and quality operations of multiple clinics. Ensure strategic integration of are and clinical practices to provide an optimal patient experience. Leads staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in a timely manner which are sensitive to the patient's physical and psychological needs. Ensures compliance with established clinical policies and procedures. Participates in SMG-wide special projects, committees or task forces as requested.

In this position you will:

  • Work closely with the Director of Operations and the Clinic Medical Director(s) to ensure that expectations of the patients and providers are met
  • Oversee the daily operations of the support staff in the clinic, including access, scheduling, patient flow, telephones, information systems, medical records and patient care to ensure maximum service to patients
  • Develop and maintain an effective organizational structure to facilitate clinic goals; manage recruitment, retention, training, compensation, and performance management of all clinic support staff
  • Analyze monthly operational reports and statistical data on patient levels and revenues. Recommend and implement process improvement plans to address areas of deficiency
  • Develop, monitor and adhere to multiple annual clinic operating budgets including projecting patient levels, revenue, technical and professional fees, equipment expenditures, staff and employee growth and space needs
  • Research and analyze costs and fees

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position includes:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health-related field or business -or- Six (6) years equivalent work experience which includes management experience
  • Two (2) years of experience in healthcare management, physician practice management and/or clinical operations
  • Demonstrated progression into increasingly responsible leadership/management roles.

Preferred qualifications for this position includes:

  • Previous multi-specialty clinic management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of practice management systems and EMR (EPIC)
