The Learning and Development Client Trainer is responsible for driving Paycom product usage and adoption through a number of platforms, including webinar, video and voiceover projects. This individual is responsible for the design, development and execution of client training programs. This role must manage short- and long-term learning strategies determined by the Client Training Team Leader in partnership with stakeholders and Learning and Development leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write and produce webinar materials, such as scripts, PowerPoint presentations, survey questions and additional virtual learning engagement tactics
- Present and train through webinar, video and voiceover media
- Design content that is usable and easily understood by various audiences – new and existing clients, HR and business professionals
- Generate new content on a monthly basis in accordance with business objectives and product releases
- Manage the amendment and revision of training content in accordance with internal and/or client feedback, business objectives and product releases
- Participate in project discovery meetings with executives and stakeholders to determine business objectives
- Interface with stakeholders and subject matter experts involved in the creation process
- Execute Paycom’s standard of quality across all learning content
- Manage project documentation and report progress according to team project management standards
- Be a strategic member of the department with new ideas on how to create more engaging content
- Maintain Paycom product knowledge post new hire training
- Report out on analytics obtained from webinar platform after each webinar conducted
MINIMUM BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education/certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree; degree in Broadcast Journalism, English, Communication, or Education preferred OR 4 years of on-camera experience or related OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
- Experience in training, on-camera work, and/or technical and/or creative writing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- Use of one or multiple online webinar/training platforms – On24, Cisco Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (ability to read, write and translate in both languages
Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated excellent public speaking skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver instructional presentations
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with aggressive deadlines
- Superior command of the English language, including rules and usage; AP Style preferred
- Strong analytical, planning, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong research skills, including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources (subject matter experts, project managers) to develop content for webinars
- Ability to retain an abundance of information in a minimal amount of time
- Proficient/Intermediate computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
- Act as a brand ambassador by modeling Paycom values in every interaction with clients, colleagues, and general public
