Directed and supervised by the Program Manager for Client Services, the Client Services Supervisor will provide supervision of the staff in Employment & Training, Skills Enrichment and Life Skills. The Client Services Supervisor is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of each client’s individual service and support plan. The Client Services Supervisor will maintain open lines of communication with referral agencies, parents and guardians. Supervisor adheres to the philosophy, policies and procedures of all services and VARC. 1. Provides case management for Employment and Training Services, Skills Enrichment Services and Life Skills Services.
2. Develops, coordinates and implements Individual Service Plans and Behavior Support Plans in conjunction with the Director of Community Services.
3. Maintains and updates required documentation to comply with current state and federal standards and regulations.
4. Evaluates and assesses all clients on a regular basis.
5. Supervises and evaluates all staff.
6. Develops, implements and monitors client activities for daily programming.
7. Schedules and facilitates meetings with referral agencies, parents and guardians.
8. Provides training to clients and monitors individual progress.
9. Actively promotes the objectives, policies and procedures of the services that VARC has outlined in the Employee Handbook and as requested by the Director of Community Services.
10. Ensures continuous supervision during break times and lunch periods.
11. Facilitates Vocational Skills training.
12. Assists in coordinating client transportation.
13. Assists with the crisis prevention/intervention plan and response.
14. Attends educational conferences to research new training ideas and curriculum materials.
15. Maintains a safe, neat and orderly work area.
16. Makes recommendations to the Director of Community Services for program changes.
17. Accepts other duties as assigned.
