Client Service Associate Company Overview We are a financial planning firm located in West Deptford, NJ – 20 minutes outside of Philadelphia, affiliated with the independent channel of Raymond James. We commit our energies, intellect, and experience in helping to attain the financial goals of our clients by providing the highest level of service and delivering high quality investment alternatives. The advisors at our firm manage over 600 client relationships with almost $500 million in assets under management. Position Summary We are looking to add an experienced Client Service Associate to our team to aid us in achieving our goals. This person would be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and staff support services for our Financial Advisors and clients. He/she would become a part of our administrative team to service existing clients and smoothly onboard new ones. Routine contact with clients and vendors is required to obtain, clarify, or provide information while sustaining a professional image. All of our tasks are closely governed by standard operating procedures, so adherence to detail and instruction is crucial. We firmly believe in the value of continuing education, so eagerness and ability to learn is imperative. Job Duties and Responsibilities - Administrative work for all clients, such as: - Opening accounts - Preparing forms - Initiating and following up on transfers - Preparing and submitting life insurance cases - Provide general administrative support to our financial advisors - Help answer phones, take messages, and/or resolve calls - Serve as the backup for duties such as: - Opening mail and depositing checks - Clerical and reception duties: greet clients, offer refreshments, etc. - Scheduling client meetings and making confirmation calls on the day prior Knowledge/Requirements - High School diploma or higher - 3+ years of administrative experience in the financial planning industry - Series 7 not required, but is a plus - Must be technologically capable in order to quickly master proprietary software and systems - MS Outlook, Word, Excel proficiency is a must Required Skills - Professional demeanor and image with excellent phone manners - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently - Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines - Capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously - Logic and common sense when solving problems Additional Information - Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday 8 am to 4 pm - Note: due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this position may be remote (work from home) until later in 2021 - 15 days of paid time off after 90 days of employment - 401(k) plan that allows employee deferrals and provides a 3% employer contribution immediately upon hire with a 5% match and potential for profit sharing starting in year two - Health and dental benefits - Reports to Operations Manager Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Schedule: Education: Experience: Work Location: Paid Training: Management: Company's website: Benefit Conditions: Work Remotely: COVID-19 Precaution(s):
