We are seeking a full-time Client Associate to join Laird Norton Wealth Management (LNWM), the Pacific Northwest’s largest independent wealth management firm. LNWM is dedicated to helping high-net-worth individuals, families and foundations make the most of their wealth now and for generations to come.

As a member of the client services team, the Client Associate will assist Directors (Client Advisors) and Client Analysts in implementing a comprehensive wealth management strategy for our clients. Specifically, the Client Associate will provide administrative support to the advisory team including, but not limited to:

  • Client account tracking and assistance with portfolio management and data gathering.
  • Account administration, such as reviewing, submitting, scanning, and maintaining documentation, opening and closing accounts, and collecting and coordinating tax reports/forms.
  • Cash management including making payments and deposits on behalf of clients, monitoring daily transactions and balances, and evaluating disbursement requests.
  • Client communication and deliverables, such as coordinating client meetings and preparing reports, presentations, and other materials for client meetings.
  • Internal support and administration including backing up the front desk and colleagues, ensuring compliance with all protocols, and maintaining positive and effective team communication.

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); willing to take a skills assessment
  • Can write and speak clearly and to the point
  • Able to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to do what it takes to serve clients

Qualifications

Four-year college degree OR equivalent work experience in financial services.

Preferred: Prior experience in private wealth management, client services or operations.
