Within a UC Board of Review (UCBR) Referee office, this employee supports the Referee staff in processing UC appeals involving varied and complicated legal issues. These appeals are filed from determinations by UC Service Centers. In order to be eligible for this position, you must:
Work hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Work hours and schedule may vary based on operational need.
This position will provide clerical and administrative support to an Appeals Referee; schedule hearings and process required notices; transcribe, prepare and distribute decisions resulting from hearings; maintain required files of appeal cases; prepare weekly production and backlog report for assigned Appeal Referee; mail processing and distribution service as receptionist; process required paperwork and computer data for cases and office supports; and perform other related clerical duties as required.
