Learn more by visiting www.rickengineering.com Qualifications Candidate shall have a BSCE degree, California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, plus a minimum of seven years experience in land development or the equivalent work experience of twelve years in this industry. Candidate must have a minimum of three years management experience supervising the work of designers and drafters. Candidate for this position must demonstrate strong independent thought and decision-making abilities; possess demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills; exhibit management ability; be adept in establishing and maintaining strong and positive working relationships with clients/public-agency personnel and in-house staff. Candidate’s managerial experience shall also include the following: supervision of engineering design teams; management of project schedules and budgets; preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work; significant experience in preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work; significant experience in client and public-agency interactions. Candidate’s technical experience must include the following: the ability to perform conceptual and preliminary engineering design studies (incorporating land use and zoning considerations, assessment and consideration of site constraints, infrastructure requirements, and potential regulatory issues); preparation/processing of regulatory plans; preparation/processing of public improvement plans (private and public); the preparation and processing of hydrologic studies and drainage reports.
