Qualifications:
Job Summary: *
Provides high quality care to children while their parents are using our facilities, ensuring safety and creates fun activities for all the children
Accountabilities:
1. Documents all employee and member/child incidents and informs supervisor
2. Interacts with children through active play, structured activities and programs
3. Provides appropriate disciplinary actions when working with children
4. Creates a safe, friendly environment in the child care area with quality supervision, focused attention, and caring service for the members and their children
5. Ensures registrations and check in/out policies and procedures are followed
6. Reports any accidents or injuries immediately, and documents using incident report forms
7. Enforces safety and security of all children by following rules and policies
8. Assists in care for children (feeding of infants, first aid, clean-up, etc.)
9. Cleans child care area, toys, etc. regularly
10. Attends mandatory meetings
11. Conducts locker room checks and other actions to ensure a clean club
12. Assists children with activities such as playscapes, rock walls, etc.
13. Checks children in and out of Child Care using member database
14. Participates in regular cleaning and sterilizing of work and office areas as required
15. Enforces and reports violations of physical distancing and any other health and safety ordinance, order, law or regulation to manager, safety committee member or Compliance
16. Follows all health and safety requirements such as, but not limited to, physical distancing, regular surface cleaning, cough/sneeze etiquette, regular hand washing, and not coming to work when sick
17. Promptly and thoroughly reviews all requested health and safety training provided, asking questions for any topic not clearly understood
18. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
19. Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
20. Maintains regular and predictable attendance
21. Other duties as assigned
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of basic child care methods and concepts, sufficient computer aptitude to monitor children, schedules, etc.
