COVID VACCINATION NOTICE: Under the COVID-19 mandate issued by the Denver Department of Public Health and Environment on August 2, 2021, current MHCD personnel must be fully vaccinated, or be approved for exemption, no later than September 30, 2021. "Fully vaccinated" means two weeks (14 days) after receiving the final dose of vaccine. The "final dose" is the second dose of a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) or the single dose of a one dose vaccine (J&J).

STARTING SALARY: $48,000 - $57,000/year

POSITION SUMMARY: The Child and Family Site Coordinator is an integral part of the operations and community engagement team for the Child and Family Division and is responsible for orchestrating activities at various sites, including supporting the set-up of trainings, site tours, room reservations, gym use, and special events for the entire Division. The CF site coordinator engages and partners with community members from diverse backgrounds to draft plans and implement programs successfully. The CF site coordinator works collaboratively with the CF Community and Engagement Specialist and Program Coordinator to coordinate MHCD events at various locations (e.g., The Dahlia Campus, the West Denver Campus and Montbello FreshLo Campus). The CF Site Coordinator supports the Child and Family Associate Director of Operations. The site coordinator is friendly, professional, and organized.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with neighbors, local community-based organizations, and Mental Health Center of Denver stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the CF Outreach and Engagement Specialist, CF Program Coordinator and the Front Office Manager for events, trainings, workshops, and resource fairs etc.
  • Coordinates the overall campus facility improvements for various campuses, (Dahlia, West Denver and FreshLo) conducts program marketing and engages in community relations including but not limited to rental/community use and payments, site repairs and maintenance, site events, and community stakeholder interests.
  • Facilitate communication and understanding of site programs, services, goals, and values.
  • Maintain Master calendars for each Campus to include, gym, preschool, Day Treatment activities, as well as classes and trainings. Address conflicts and coordinate with greater MHCD master calendar.
  • Book and coordinate campus tours, regularly and upon request.
  • Collaborate with Central Office Assistants, Administrative Assistants and Executive Assistants to create streamlined room reservation processes for all locations.
  • Respond to external and internal communications within 24 hours, sooner when possible.
  • Assist volunteers, vendors, and contractors with obtaining badge access to buildings.
  • Participate in meetings as requested.
  • Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
  • Coordinate with Real Estate fleet vehicle maintenance and staff reservations
  • Support programs, events, and reservations during late evenings and weekends.
  • Maintain the campus library.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred in business, marketing, communications, public relations, or related degree required.

Experience: Minimum two (2) years' experience in a role with operations, community relations, public relations, event planning, administrative or customer service.
