Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced small kitchen crew to launch our brand for deliveries in New York, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles. The cook is a food lover, team player, and leader capable of learning on the job and directing a small crew.

- Committed to exceptional standards for quality, consistency, taste, presentation, and proper customization of orders

- Familiar with Indian/South Asian cuisine preferred

- Familiar with chain restaurant operations preferred

- Experience in lead role / kitchen supervision - managing orders, inventory, packaging

- Knowledgeable regarding ingredients and allergens for all dishes; avoids cross-contamination

- Provide guests with best food delivery experience, accurate orders, complete with proper garnish and sides, at perfect serving temperatures for delivery only items

- Has creativity when it comes to setting up new menus and dishes

Requirements

- Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting inventory boxes, and objects up to 30 pounds up to 5 times per shift.

- Must have food prep experience or culinary training; fast-casual preferred

- Must be comfortable with frequent exposure to steam, high/low temperatures, and humidity.

- Flexible schedule, must be available weekends and closing shifts.

- High energy, awesome communication, team-orientation, and diligent worker

- Must have a Food Handler’s Card and pass all the requisite training and certifications assigned to the role

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff will be required to wear a mask, shield, and hair net in the kitchen. Also we will require the use of gloves when packaging meals
