Charter Aviation Flight Coordinator needed for a rapidly growing charter company, based in North Carolina. We are looking for a team-oriented, safety-focused, energetic leader who has Part 135/121 experience. The company began in 2019 with only 2 aircraft. Presently, the BellAir fleet consists of 16 aircraft comprised of Hawker 800XP, Excel, Encore, CJ series, Lear 60, Phenom 300’s and a King Air 350, with a near-term goal of doubling the fleet size during 2022. Duties/responsibilities: Responsible for coordinating charter flights in accordance with FAR 135 requirements for BellAir’s domestic and international charter operations. Responsible for company compliance with FAA regulations and policies as applicable to the flight dispatch of company aircraft. Provide charter coordination services encompassing all aircraft and aircrew related support during charter operations. Coordinates with the Pilot-in-Command to determine the suitability of weather, airfield and traffic conditions, and is jointly responsible for the safe operation of each flight. Secure civil landing and commercial over-flight clearances for all domestic and international flight operations. Arranges diplomatic over-flight and landing clearances for charter flights as required. Responsible for arranging aircraft ground handling and fuel on-load / services and coordinates cargo on-load/off-load at departure, en route, and recover locations. Coordinates customs and immigration at en route destinations. Files required General Declaration paperwork. Review NOTAMs, weather, and all conditions affecting the route of flight under the dispatcher’s control. Prepares the Aircraft Flight Release considering the weather, required fuel loads, cargo/passenger payloads, aircraft airworthiness, and routing strategy for all aircraft under the Company’s operation control. Participate in shift turnover and conveys critical information and/or changes that may impact flight operations including current and forecast weather conditions, Air Traffic Control (ATC) delays, maintenance deferrals, or deteriorating airport conditions, inoperative NAVAIDS, ground support equipment, crew duty limitations, and potential contingency diversionary plans. Qualifications: Prefer minimum of 3 years experience as a flight coordinator/scheduler in similar business. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
