Job no: 68604 Follow up on all consult requests for Spiritual Care. Answer all emergent and trauma requests for Spiritual Care. Follow up on all Spiritual Care referrals. Collaborate and consult with other Department of Spiritual Care chaplains, spiritual care volunteers, and Diocesan Chaplain on duty to triage spiritual care. Conduct Sunday worship service on request. Will serve as the point person in maintaining schedules for both on call Protestant and Roman Catholic clergy serving jointly at Upstate's two hospitals in cooperation with Crouse Hospital's Spiritual Care Center. Operational needs are to work closely with departmental manager in recruitment and retention efforts, billing, statistics, inputting notes in EPIC, assisting in arranging educational opportunities and consultations with the on call teams, regular communication with the on call teams in order to keep them well-connected with hospital updates and developments. Master's degree in Divinity/Theology or equivalency, endorsed and/or ordained and in good standing with one's faith tradition and a minimum of 2 years experience working in a clinical setting plus excellent written/oral and interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player required. 4 units (1600 hours) of Clinical Pastoral Education from the ACPE and Board Certified, or eligible, by a national pastoral care organization is required. Sunday and Monday. Shift TBD. Includes Holidays. This is a part-time position.
