About the role:

Samsara is seeking a talented and driven Channel Account Executive to expand our Site Visibility business. You'll own the Site Visibility sales engagement and help us target and build relationships with a named list of strategic resale & referral partners. Activities will include managing the full customer sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to close, working closely with our Partner Account Managers to learn and evangelize our partner offerings, and being willing and flexible to test new routes to market. You will also champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Obsess Over the Customer, Build for the Long Term, Growth Mindset) as we scale globally and across new offices.You should be an energetic evangelist passionate about introducing a transformative new technology into the market. You should have a history of over-achievement (Presidents Club, etc.) and be comfortable selling into all levels of an enterprise organization in both technology and lines of business.

In this role, you will:
  • Own the site visibility sales process with new and existing channel partners, including product demonstrations, managing the trial, ROI & proposal presentations, to close
  • Partner with our mainstream sales team to expand Site Visibility sales within our existing install-base
  • Champion, role-model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Obsess Over the Customer, Build for the Long Term, Growth Mindset) as we scale globally and across new offices

An ideal candidate has:

  • 5+ years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
  • Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement
  • Experience handling and owning enterprise deal sizes
  • Willingness and comfort with strategic outbound prospecting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Regional travel required

Regarding COVID-19

With the spread of COVID-19, Samsara's global offices will remain closed until further notice with the exception of employees that require access to hardware and lab equipment.

Our primary concern is for the health and well-being of our employees as well as candidates. We have transitioned all interviews and onboarding to be conducted virtually via Zoom video conferencing. Employees are also able to work from countries and states where Samsara is a registered entity through June 2021, full list of locations here. All employees are expected to return to our offices when they reopen with the exception of field-based and fully remote roles.
