Actively Hiring We are looking for Board Certified Registered Behavior Technicians who have a passion for helping families and who want to make a difference in the lives of children diagnosed with Autism. This position involves working with children in their homes and in the community to help improve all areas of functioning. As a Registered Behavior Technician you will never be asked to create your own materials or complete work that is unpaid. Registered Behavior Technician’s open to work with cases focusing on functional communication, ADL's, feeding and adaptive skills. This is a home-based position working with clients conducting intensive therapy sessions under the supervision of a BCBA. All staff are supervised by a Licensed Behavior Analyst. All programs, treatment plans and interventions are written by licensed supervisors. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: · Collect and record data based on observable client behavior. · Write progress notes, maintain program books. · Actively participate in the implementation treatment and parent training. · Utilize safe and appropriate handling, management and guidance procedures when working with clients. · Provide direct client care following the prescribed behavioral protocols/programs. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: · Must be able to assume a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crouching, sitting, standing) in the course of working with children with developmental disabilities and severe behavior problems. · Must demonstrate the ability to hand over hand prompt clients in the course of behavioral management. · Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication · Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned. · Must be physically present at the assigned job site.
