JOB SUMMARY: Provide Psychiatric Occupational Therapy service to patients in Inpatient and Outpatient Psychiatry upon referral. Services include planning individual patient care programs/goals and carrying out treatments. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – Behavioral (COTA) demonstrates current knowledge of principles and practices of Occupational Therapy and has knowledge of the practices of other disciplines. Participates in job related departmental functions and strives to be an integral member of the patient care team. The COTA implements Occupational Therapy services to patients under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist/Licensed.
