Urgent Care for Kids/Virtual Care for Families currently has 13 clinic locations across Texas and is rapidly growing, providing telemedicine services in 10 states. We are seeking Certified Medical Assistants/LVNs for our Dallas/Fort Worth Market who share our core values: Passion, Humility, Adaptability, Nurture, and Experience. Clinic Office Managers work alongside the Director, Operations in ensuring clinic efficiency through collaboration with cross-functional team members and coaching/mentoring the clinic team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Triage patients, assess urgency status and prioritize care
  • Communicate with the provider that the patient is ready and give a brief verbalization of symptoms and abnormal vitals
  • Assist provider in procedures and patient care
  • Administer and document medication as directed by the provider
  • Prepare, clean, and maintain exam and treatment rooms
  • Obtain labs and call back patients when lab results are in
  • Provider patient education at the end of the visit and answer any follow up questions
  • Position patients for radiology procedures and remove all artifacts (training provided by UC4K)
  • Front office responsibilities & procedures
  • Perform other related work as needed

Hours of Operation:

Monday through Friday 3:00pm – 9:00pm (during COVID19)

Saturday and Sunday 9:00am – 5:00pm (during COVID19)

Work Environment: The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and with a diverse population, including staff, providers, patients, families, and other members of the public on a regular basis. This position may cause frequent exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinical environment.

Job Types: Full Time/PRN

. Requirements:
  • Pediatric Office, Pediatric Hospital, or Urgent Care within the past 3 years and lasted at least 6+ months
  • MA certified (CMA, NCMA, RMA)
  • LVN/LPN - TX License
  • CPR certification required
  • Knowledge of HIPPA, OSHA, basic clinical procedures, CLIA-Waived Testing, EMR software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and able to type at least 60 WPM
  • Work in a fast-pace environment
  • Be able to handle multi-tasking
