• POSITION SUMMARY
  The Scheduler/Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physician(s) in providing quality patient care, and has routine interaction and working relationships with patients, family members, physicians, third party payers, and other clinic and hospital associates. Coordinates the scheduling of procedures, surgeries, appointments, computer data entry and reports. Serves as the first point of contact for their physician.

  Graduation from an approved Medical Assistant program required
  LICENSURE

  EXPERIENCE
  
  Two years of experience in a clinic setting preferred
  CERTIFICATION
  
  Current Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA or NCCT NCMA) required. BCLS certification highly preferred.
