Overview Utah Statewide CrisisLine is maintained 24/7 through a comprehensive telephonic system staffed by mental health professionals capable of assessing any individual experiencing a self-defined crisis situation, leading to appropriate crisis stabilization and making appropriate referrals. Crisis services include screening and triage, psycho-social support, and connection to appropriate resources. Services also include collaboration with local mental health authorities in the state of Utah. As such, the Statewide CrisisLine operates as a dispatch for Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams across the state of Utah. Primary duties are working on the Utah Crisis Line providing crisis intervention via phone. Also would provide support to other crisis programs when needed. There is also a risk of assault from agitated, combative, irrational patients experiencing psychosis from mental disorders or substance abuse.
