We want you on our team.Clark Regional Medical Center located in Winchester, a 15 minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a full-time, day shift, Central Sterile Reprocessing and Supply Coordinator to join our Surgical services team!

Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to:

Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.

Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with

performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

Assesses and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.

Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.

Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.

Provides inspection, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments and other patient care equipment in accordance with processing guidelines, AAMI, AORN, TJC, and OSHA requirements.

Operates departmental equipment daily according to manufacturer instructions with emphasis on safety.

Processes and documents all sterile supplies and equipment daily using chemical, biological and mechanical indicators to verify sterility in accordance with manufacturer instructions and hospital policy.

Monitors and performs antimicrobial and disinfection solutions testing according to manufacturer instructions and documentation daily.


Education: High School diploma - required Associates degree- preferred
Certifications: BLS Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician CRCST - preferred
