Bakersfield Memorial Hospital includes 385 general acute beds, 48 licensed critical care beds, 13 state-of-the-art surgical suites, and a full-service Emergency Department with an Accredited Chest Pain Center and Nationally Certified Stroke Center. Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, TJC and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Plans, controls and coordinates the decontamination, assembly, sterilization and distribution of surgical instrumentation and supplies, stocking/cleaning and distribution of medical equipment, case carts, specialized procedure carts associated with the Sterile Processing and BMH. Ensures high quality output of service, the efficient use of resources and a safe work environment.
