We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a FGP Provider Enrollment Specialist.
In this role, the successful candidate provides primary support to the Credentialing Managers and Director in all aspects of credentialing and contract management relative to FGP physicians. The Credentialing Coordinator will work directly with the FGP leadership to facilitate the credentialing, managed care enrollment and any demographic changes for physicians and ancillary providers within the Faculty Group Practice. This individual may interact daily with physicians, practice administrators, billing vendors, commercial and governmental health plans, the University Physicians Network and credentialing vendors. The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that accurate demographic information is submitted for health plan linkages and all credentialing related information is shared with all necessary stakeholders in an expeditious manner.
To qualify you must possess solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure compliance with departmental turnaround times. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. A comfort level communicating with internal and external constituents via email is expected. The Credentialing Coordinator must also demonstrate strong computer skills/knowledge and have the ability to enter data quickly but accurately. The Credentialing Coordinator should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other database programs.
