CEI Construction Engineering Quality Control Inspector Details

Mehta Engineering & Associates, Inc. (also known as Mehta Engineering) a 40 year plus civil engineering and construction management firm located in the central Florida area is looking for Quality Control/Materials Technician to work in the Orlando area. We are looking for candidates who are interested in learning the CEI side.

MATERIALS TECHNICIAN High school graduate or equivalent plus two (2) years' experience in construction inspection, one (1) year of which shall have been in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection, or a Civil Engineering degree with the ability to earn additional required qualifications within one year.Responsible for performing assignments in assisting Senior Materials Engineer in the performance of their duties. Receive general supervision from the Senior Materials Engineer who reviews work while in progress. Civil Engineering graduates must obtain certifications within the first year of working as an inspector or Engineer Intern. Exceptions will be permitted on a case-by-case basis so long as qualifications and certifications are appropriate for specific inspection duties.

Qualifications :

CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I

  • CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I (If applicable)
  • CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
  • CTQP Pile Driving Inspection (lf applicable)
  • CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (If applicable- required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as Sign structures, Lighting structures, and Traffic Signal structures)
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level 1

Certifications: * Nuclear Radiation Safety
