The selected candidate must be detail oriented, customer focused, safe on and off the road, have the ability to apply basic concepts, and have the ability to read, understand and apply common operational documents. Qualifications -Valid Class A CDL - Must be at least 21 years old -Must be OVER THE ROAD driver - At least 1 year of recent verifiable tractor/trailer experience - Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) a must - Must be able to meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements - Pass Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Test; be able and willing to comply with random mandatory screenings - Reliable and willing to work - Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedure - No license suspensions in the last 3 years - Flatbed experience a plus but not required - Have ability to work overtime - Must have a smartphone for ELD requirements - Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly - Report defects, accidents or violations Benefits - Highly competitive pay per hour- W-2 - 26$ per hour OR 98 cents per mile - Overtime Pay after 40 hours - Guaranteed 40 hours of pay each week - Trucks located in CT, willing to relocate depending on location and experience - Paid orientation and training - Open door policy - Modern Equipment - Paid Vacations, Holidays, and Personal days - Premier benefit package: Medical, Vision, Dental, Life and Retirement plans - Paid DOT Physicals and Renewals - Paid TWIC Card - Paid weekly via direct deposit Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $26.00 per hour Benefits: Schedule: Experience: License/Certification: Work Location: On the road
