CDL A OTR Driver - Owner Operator

Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- 24 months of verifiable tractor-trailer OTR (48 state) experience with a preference of at least 6 months of verifiable, recent and relatable flatbed experience. No flatbed? Please let us know – we do have a test-out program for those with great work and safety histories.
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
- No serious violations in the last 3 years
- No DUI in the last 5 years; Never while operating a commercial vehicle
- No at-fault DOT recordable accidents in the last 3 years with citation
- No more than 2 at-fault accidents/incidents in the last 3 years
- No more than 3 job changes in the last 3 years (if you have less than 6; you may still be eligible – be sure to ask me about this)
- Currently we are not signing on owner/operators living in California
Trucks and Trailers:
- We’re a little fussy when it come to the trucks that enter our fleet. We don’t have an age limit on trucks, but preference is given to trucks that are no older than 5 years. If older than 5 years, photos and history of improvements are required for consideration. Safe, clean and well maintained is a must.
- Each truck and trailer will get a DOT inspection prior to acceptance. Our inspectors never race through an inspection – it will likely be the most thorough inspection ever done on your truck/trailer.
- After inspection, if there any repairs or replacements found to be needed, you will be required to have them completed before first dispatch. You do not need to get the work done with us; but if you choose to, the cost will need to be settled at completion.
- As a preference, we would like the truck to weigh 20K pounds or less with fuel in order to scale 46.5K of cargo.
